Now while soft washing is good for washing houses, there are some surfaces that need to be cleaned with high pressure. Hard surfaces like concrete, tennis courts, stone and brick require not only cleaning solutions to remove mould but also high pressure to effectively clean them. This is because their surfaces are not smooth but bumpy so mould can get a good hold on them and is more difficult to remove.

Why pressure wash my driveway, pathways or fences?

The difference between a dirty driveway and a clean one is night and day. In fact, any surface that can be pressure cleaned will instantly look a lot better. The surface virtually goes from black to white in front of your eyes. This really lifts the look of your home or business and makes it look, well, clean!

Can I use a home pressure washer from Bunnings?

These days, the market has been flooded with a host of cheap pressure washer options. Many advertise the high pressure they can achieve and it's true they're great for little jobs around the house but they're not designed to clean large areas professionally. For example, to clean a concrete driveway properly you need to use a concrete surface cleaner which is a rotating twin jet nozzle disc on wheels that provides a nice even clean to the concrete at about 3000PSI. If you try to do that with the gun of a little electric bunnings washer you will get lines through the concrete. This is because it's hard to hold the gun at a constant distance from the concrete and so the pressure the concrete receives fluctuates. These machines also struggle to achieve 3000PSI, use tiny little hoses and don't have a lot of flow which means they wash at a very very slow speed.
