What are the benefits of Gutter Guard?

These systems should be avoided because they are not effective and while cheaper it is a case of you getting what you pay for. Leaves and debris will actually be trapped by these systems eventually blocking water flow of the gutter which is exactly what they're not supposed to do!

We recommend an integrated mesh system such as Blue Mountain Gutter Mesh. These systems are durable and completely seal the gutter with a design that forms a slippery slope for leaves so that they cannot find their way in to the gutter. On tiled roofs these systems are pop riveted onto the top edge of the gutter with a gutter trim that is matched to the colour of the gutter. They then cover the first course of roof tiles and are tucked underneath the second course creating a full seal and professional looking solution. On Colorbond roofs the system works the same way however the mesh is cut and formed to the same shape of the roof profile and then screwed into place with a trim that is matched to the profile of the roof. Again, this forms a complete seal and is a professional solution.
